FastMCP is the FastAPI equivalent for Model Context Protocol servers. It abstracts away low-level JSON-RPC protocol boilerplate and gives you a Pythonic interface with automatic type checking via Pydantic. If you are building Python-based agent tools, FastMCP is the fastest way from idea to working server.
